Qualified in 1978 - Port Elizabeth Provincial Hospital South Africa
After working for 5 years in predominantly private practice I took an eight year break to be full time Mum.
In 1991 I re-trained and it was then that I took on Mammography as a modality of special interest, attending short courses at every opportunity.
Through changes in personal circumstances, I have worked as a Radiographer in many localities in South Africa, Saudi Arabia and the UK.
In 2004 I spent time as a Mammographer on the Breast Screening Programme in Norfolk which motivated me to eventually join this dedicated team at the Princess Grace Hospital. So after many years of clinical experience in this field I am embarking on gaining my certification in Mammography which I hope to attain by the end of 2009.
Hobbies/interests: My leisure time is spent painting mostly on commission, cycling, squash and relaxing with friends and family.
