I undertook medical training at Cambridge University and King’s College Hospital. I became a lecturer in Histopathology at King’s College Hospital Medical School, as well as working as a lecturer and Senior Lecturer / Consultant Pathologist at the Royal London Hosptial where I completed my MD thesis (Cantab).
I entered the private sector in 1985, joining Farrer-Brown Histopathology Ltd initially part time due to family commitments, but subsequently became full time later.
I joined five consultant pathologist colleagues to form the Independent Histopathology Ltd in 2001, and have since developed breast pathology as my main interest with a commitment to working closely with surgical colleagues.
